Acto de Fe 17-Junio, 2007 Cosmic-Krautrock 70s

Programa dedicado al lado cósmico del krautrock (años 70). Los años formativos de la música electrónica moderna, con grupos fundamentales que sentaron las bases de la electrónica de las décadas siguientes. Durante los años 70 las herramientas eran totalmente analógicas, por lo que el mérito fue soberbio. Sintetizadores como el Mini Moog, el VCS3, Oberheim, así como el sistema modular Moog, el mellotron, los primeros secuenciadores y unas cajas rítmicas sencillas, fueron la columna vertebral para propuestas que aun hoy dia son paradigmas.

Acto de Fe 6-mayo, 2007 Especial Bill Bruford

Programa dedicado a la carrera de Bill Bruford, uno de los más grandes y versátiles bateristas británicos, con una carrera que comenzó en 1969 junto a la agrupación Yes. Su paso por King Crimson, National Health, U.K., sus bandas de jazz fusion Bruford y Earthworks y colaboraciones con Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Rick Wakeman, Roy Harper, Pavlov´s Dog, Gong, Genesis, Absolute Elsewhere, Annette Peacock, Patrick Moraz, David Torn, Tony Levin, Peter Lockett, The New Percussion Group of Amsterdam, Ralph Towner, Brand X, Gordian Knot, Jean Phillipe Goude y muchos más, conforman una carrera de grandes proporciones.

Pero no basta con haber tocado con tantos grupos y músicos importantes. En el caso de Bruford, su estilo inconfundible lo colocan en una privilegiada posición en la que apenas escuchados unos pocos compases es posible reconocerlo. Todo músico sueña con diferenciarse de ese modo, bien sea con el sonido de su instrumento o con la forma de ejecutarlo. Pocos lo logran. El beat metálico de su caja o redoblante, la forma de redoblar, los golpes a los platillos a los que logra imprimir un sonido personal, la capacidad de improvisar y adaptarse a cualquier estilo y sobre todo las complejas síncopas, lo vuelven único.

El 18 de Noviembre de 2006, Acto de Fe celebró los 11 años de su primera emisión (ago 1995) con la participación de 4 bandas y dos pisos de música en La Cigarra, Caracas.
