Acto de Fe 22 Junio, 2008 Space Rock

Programa dedicado al Space/Cosmic Rock, una corriente que ha contado con diversos y muy importantes exponentes desde finales de los años 60. El space rock bebe de la psicodelia, de la electrónica cósmica de la escuela berlinesa de los años 70, del folk más místico y del rock progresivo para crear pasajes instrumentales de carácter envolvente e hipnótico.

Material de diversas épocas, desde el Pink Floyd de 1968 a Grails de 2007, pasando por grupos emblemáticos del krautrock y otros con un universo propio como The Legendary Pink Dots. Grupos de Gran Bretaña, USA, Holanda, Canadá, Francia, Suecia y Alemania.

Acto de Fe 15-junio, 2008 Especial Spiritualized

Programa dedicado a una de las más importantes agrupaciones de la psicodelia pop de las últimas dos décadas. Formada en 1990 por Jason Pierce, de las cenizas de Spacemen 3, grupo clave de los 80 dentro de la psicodelia y el garage rock, desde entonces Spiritualized ha construido una carrera única en la que se se conjugan influencias del gospel, el blues, el soul, el space rock, el pop de cámara y por supuesto la psicodelia. El resultado es una propuesta hipnótica, cósmica y catárquica, épica en ocasiones, la cual se mueve de atmósferas envolventes y minimalistas a momentos explosivos.

La edición del nuevo disco "Songs in A&E", tras cinco años de silencio discográfico son la perfecta excusa para realizar un recorrido a su trayectoria. Lados B, grabaciones en vivo, presentaciones de radio, tomas alterntivas, remixes y canciones de sus discos.

Programa dedicado a explorar el FOLK actual, en varias de sus vertientes y sub corrientes. Desde el folk rock con influencias de la psicodelia, el country, el folk con raices sureñas y elementos de la cultura tex mex, el folk con influencias balcánicas, el folk de cabaret con pinceladas de tango, el folk gótico, la cancion folk tradicional, entre otros. Un punto común: los instrumentos acústicos y la voz como elemento conductor.

Escucharemos propuestas de Inglaterra, Escocia, Argentina, Francia, España, Islandia, Israel, Australia y varias partes de Estados Unidos.

Desde su aparición en 1992 con el disco Dry, comandado por la fiereza de su guitarra, hasta el pastoral ultimo disco, White Chalk (2007), PJ Harvey ha escalado el Olimpo del rock y se ha instalado en él.
